DAYTON —
A 64-year-old woman told police that three teenagers with bandannas covering their faces tried to rob her in her driveway Thursday night.
According to a Dayton Police incident report, the woman noticed the teens walking east on Cornell Drive as she arrived home with her grandson at about 10:40 p.m.
She said as she walked to the back of her car, the young males approached and one of them displayed a semi-automatic handgun.
One of them said, “Give me all the money in your pocket,” according to the report. When the woman said she didn’t have any money the teens, “stood there for a shot time then fled east on Cornell Drive,” the report states.
The suspects were described as males 15-19 years of age, wearing black hooded sweatshirts and green camouflage plants with yellow, black and green bandannas. One was described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall 120 pounds while the other two were described as about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds.
