Fog possibly to blame in Darke Co. rollover

ANSONIA, Darke County —

A 20-year-old Rossburg woman remained in critical condition Thursday night following a rollover accident on Ohio 118 in which she was ejected.

Medics rushed Angel Nicely to Miami Valley Hospital following the crash. She remained in critical condition, according to the hospital.

Darke County sheriff’s deputies said Nicely was headed north on Ohio 118 in the 11600 block at about 1:38 a.m. when she lost control of her green Chevrolet Blazer. The vehicle rolled several times before it came to rest on its side in a ditch, according to deputies.

Thick fog was reported in the area at the time and deputies said the fog may have contributed to the crash.
