GREENE COUNTY —
Greene County Commissioners unanimously voted in favor of combining the county children services agency with the county jobs and family services department.
The vote came after a county commissioner work session on Nov 15 where two commissioners were leaning toward delaying the vote on the merger.
Before today’s vote on the merger, Greene County Children Services was overseen by a board of directors whose members were appointed by county commissioners.
