Traffic was backed up on northbound Interstate 75 after a semi tractor-trailer jackknifed this afternoon.
The crash was reported around 1:40 p.m. today near the Wagner Ford exit. Traffic was backed up through downtown while crews worked to clean up the crash.
Police said the crash occurred when the driver hydroplaned on the highway. The driver was not injured in the crash, and will likely be cited for failure to yield, police said.
The semi was upright by 2:10 p.m.
