BEAVERCREEK — Envy XOXO will close up shop at The Greene on Sunday, boutique owner Tara Arnold said Wednesday.

Arnold said she and her daughter, Shayna, will focus on enhancing and growing their online business at shopenvycouture.com and hosting parties in homes.

The boutique is among at least four other locally owned shops to close recently at the Beavercreek complex this year.

The shopping center did not respond to an inquiry from the Daily News about the closures.

Items are marked down 30 percent at the store through its closing.

The online shop will offer free shipping and will sell several new lines, including Betsey Johnson’s Pink Label, Wildfox jewelry and swimwear, Nicholai jewelry by Nicky Hilton, Brandy Melville clothing and Sky dresses and embellished shirts.

Bethany’s Bridal and Prom closed Jan. 31. Jenna Claire Handbag Studio closed Sept. 30 and is now online only.

Hausfeld’s Salons and Spa merged its Greene location into its Springboro location at Marketplace at Settler’s Walk in May.

Joey Eric closed in April. Owner Jalonda Hill said it was a struggle to compete with larger companies in the weak economy.

“I am sure everyone felt the same effect,” she said of the pressures.

Her company is revamping its website, hosts home parties and sells at various shows and events. “It’s more profitable and more fun,” Hill said.
