DAYTON —
Two women were detained Sunday after being found hiding inside a house they’ve previously been trespassed from.
Police stopped by a house on East Third Street Sunday evening to check for four people who have been nuisance abated from the property due to prior drug activity.
While several officers went inside the house, one stayed outside and reported seeing one of the subjects, 23-year-old Brittney Martin, lean out of an upstairs window and put several items into the rain gutter, according to a report.
Officers discovered three females hiding upstairs, Martin and Lindsay Ruth, 30, had been trespassed from the property for prior criminal activity. They were both taken into custody.
In the gutter, police found a crack pipe, hypodermic needle, and a metal spoon.
Martin was no longer in the Montgomery County Jail on Monday. Ruth was being held on $750 bond pending a charge of illegally occupying a nuisance property.
