Temperatures are up then down next week

MIAMI VALLEY —

Skies will be clear overnight into Sunday, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

She said temperatures will be in the upper 40s.

Vrydaghs said that Sunday will be sunny with highs in the upper 60s. She said that is 10 degrees above normal.

For Sunday night, Vrydaghs said that more clouds will arrive Sunday evening as a cold front approaches from the west. But any rain is expected to hold off until early Monday morning.

“Our western counties will likely see rain for their morning commute” said Vrydaghs.

She said temperatures Monday will reach the mid-50s, and then cool into the 40s as the rain passes through.

“We could also see winds between 20-25 miles per hour with some higher wind gusts” she said.

Vrydaghs said skies will gradually clear late Monday leading to a chilly overnight with lows in the mid-20s.

She added that sunny skies will be in store Tuesday through Thursday, but temperatures will be much cooler with highs in the 40s.
