DAYTON —
Dayton police arrested a 51-year-old man and cited 18 others Saturday at 10 N. Kilmer St after receiving a complaint about alleged gambling, alcohol and drugs being sold out of a building.
Police said they went into a building , and observed people drinking alcohol. They said some people were playing dominoes with a tally sheet, and there was a strong smell of marijuana.
Officers said they found a fully stocked homemade bar. They discovered several bottles of opened and unopened liquor underneath the bar. They said there were refrigerators behind the bar which contained unopened bottles of beer and soda.
Investigators also discovered a full kitchen with operational industrial fryers, and a refrigerator containing hamburger patties, chicken wings, and assorted condiments.
Police confiscated all of the liquor and beer, along with some cigars and a marijuana cigarette.
Officers arrested Lonnie J. Harvson III and charged him with selling items without a permit.
The others were cited on nuisance counts.
