DAYTON —
A man reported being robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night by a teenager who was described as having a unique haircut.
Dayton police responded shortly after 9 p.m. to 17 Delaware Ave. where a 45-year-old man said he had just been robbed of $15, according to the Dayton police report.
The victim told police he was walking south on Main Street when two black males yelled at him to come to a nearby alley, according to the report.
The victim refused and continued walking but then was approached by a black male holding a chrome-plated handgun who stated, “Give it up,” according to the report.
The victim gave him the $15 dollars in his pocket and the suspect then ran away north toward Fountain Avenue, according to the report.
Police said the suspect was described as between the ages of 15 to 18, wearing a white T-shirt and black gym shorts.
Additionally, the victim told police he could identify the suspect because he was light complected and had a short, red afro haircut, according to the report.
