SOUTHWEST OHIO —

Snow showers throughout the Southwest Ohio region tonight are leaving a good coating on grass, and falling temperatures will create some slick spots on sidewalks and roads, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson said.

By morning, expect a half-inch to perhaps an inch on the grass and some lighter slushy accumulation on untreated roads, Simpson said.

By the end of Thursday there will be less snow on the ground, though the showers will continue. That’s because temperatures will climb back into the upper 30s in the afternoon.

Roads may be wet again midday, Simpson said.

Look for additional flurries Friday and Saturday, but no accumulation. The weekend gets colder.

Morning lows and afternoon highs look this way:

Thursday - 30/37

Friday - 26/34

Saturday- 22/30

Sunday- 18/29

Monday - 19/34
