CLARK COUNTY —
A Springfield man has been indicted on one count of gross sexual imposition by a Clark County grand jury.
Roger W. Branham Jr., 36, is accused of touching the genitalia of a child younger than age 10 who is known to him, according to records.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Branham told police an incident the child reported was accidental after first reporting the incident did not occur at all.
Branham was on parole after he previously served a five-year prison term for rape, according to the affidavit. He was arrested and put in the Clark County Jail on Dec. 7.
