BETHEL TWP., Clark Co. —

A man suspected of robbing the Rite Aid on McAdams Drive Sunday afternoon was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail Sunday night, according to deputies.

Deputies arrested Beau Frank, 32, after he allegedly robbed the business around 1:20 p.m. Sunday, deputies said. Frank was booked on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Frank reportedly entered the Rite Aid, bent over to hide his face and demanded cash from the store’s clerk. The suspect told the clerk he had a gun, deputies said. The worker complied with the suspect’s demands and handed over cash. Franks fled the store and dropped two $20 bills while leaving.

A K-9 unit was dispatched to the scene to search for the suspect, but an initial search was unsuccessful, according to deputies. Upon further investigation the sheriff’s office was able to confirm the suspect’s identity and locate him at ACE Hardware on South Dayton Lakeview Road.

Frank was transported back to the robbery scene, where additional evidence was collected, and the evidence further confirmed Frank as the suspect, according to deputies. He was arrested and transported to jail.

Frank is scheduled for his arraignment on Jan. 2 in the Clark County Municipal Court, according to the sheriff’s office.
