JACKSON TWP., Montgomery County —

Two people suffered non life-threatening injuries Thursday in a two-vehicle accident on Manning Road that left one of the vehicles in the roadway on its side.

Police and rescue crews were dispatched at about 3:50 p.m. to Manning and Diamond Mill roads on a report of a multivehicle rollover accident with possible entrapment.

A Jeep headed west on Manning apparently ran a red light and continued into the path of a sedan headed east on Diamond Mill, according to a preliminary Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigation.

There were no passengers in either vehicle. Both drivers were taken to a hospital.

Manning was shut down to traffic for about an hour because of the accident investigation.

The driver of the Jeep will be given a citation for failure to yield.
