What are the construction hotspots this week?

The Ohio Department of Transportation is ramping up construction work this week. The following closures are in effect through May 11:

Auglaize County

• I-75 northbound and southbound between Bellefontaine Street and National Road, Daily lane closures through May 16 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Clark County

• U.S 68 in both directions at bridge near State Route 334, 24 hour lane closures through May 30. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• I-70 eastbound and westbound between State Route 4 and U.S. 68, Nightly lane closures through May 9 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Monday through Wednesday closures will be 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday closure will be 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday closure will be 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Miami County

• I-75 north and south between Northwoods Boulevard and County Route 25A (Tipp City), Daily lane closures through May 9 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Two lanes will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 northbound off ramp to County Route 25 A in Piqua (Exit 83), 24 hour ramp closure May 11th at 7 p.m. through May 12th at 10 a.m. The official detour during this ramp closure is: U.S. 36/Ash Street East to Looney Road North to County Route 25A.

• I-75 southbound on ramp from County Route 25 A in Piqua (Exit 83), 24 hour ramp closure May 11th at 7 p.m. through May 12th at 10 a.m. The official detour during this ramp closure is: County Route 25A East to Looney Road South to U.S. 36/Ash Street West to I-75.

Montgomery County

• Eastwood Metro Park near Harshman Road, Pavement repairs to parking lot and driveway through May 23. The park will remain open, but there will be restricted access for boating and fishing during the repairs.

• I-75 southbound between U.S. 35 and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Nightly lane closures May 6-8 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. One southbound lane will remain open all times.

• Ohio 4 between I-75 and Stanley Avenue, 24 hour lane closures through Oct. 31. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• Ohio 4 between State Route 235 and Adams Road, 24 hour lane closures through Sept. 1. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Shelby County

• I-75 north and south between Fair Road and County Route 25A (Piqua), Nightly lane closures May 11th -17th between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 northbound and southbound between County Route 25A (Piqua) and Ohio 219, Nightly lane closures April 21st through Sept. 30th between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• I-75 northbound and southbound between the Great Miami River Bridge and Fair Road, width restrictions March 31st – Sept. 30. All lanes will be reduced in width to 10 feet 6 inches.
