Two teens die in car-train accident

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Indiana —

Two teens are dead after a car-train collision early Sunday morning. It happened at the railroad crossing with North Plum Street in Farmland.

Investigators said two people were trapped in the car, and one was ejected.

The Randolph County Coroner pronounced two 17-year-olds dead at the scene. They are identified as Amber Morrow and Kristin N. “Kris” Kiser.

Deputies said that Joshua M. Ponder, 18 was taken by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital. He was listed in fair condition Sunday night.
