Xenia police have arrested a man on four counts of rape after an investigation revealed he sexually assaulted multiple girls under 13 years old.

Police said they received a complaint Jan. 29 relating to a sexual assault of a female under 13. The investigation revealed there were multiple victims that were all under 13 at the time of the alleged offenses, according to police. The alleged offenses occurred over several years.

Billy K. Adams, 36, is in the Greene County Jail on a $100,000 cash or surety bond. He faces four counts of rape, a first-degree felony.

Xenia police have been consulting with the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office regularly throughout the course of the investigation, according to a release.

Additional charges could be filed.
