Ohio State leaders to visit Dayton, Clark County during southwest tour

Ohio State University leaders and students will embark on a tour of Southwest Ohio this week as part of the school’s 2017 Roads Scholars Tour.

Top Ohio State administrators, including president Michael Drake, will join the tour. The Dayton Daily News will ride along with administrators and students as the only news outlet on the tour that includes stops in Montgomery and Clark counties.

The tour, which will include a stop at the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park tomorrow morning, will take place this Thursday and Friday.

The tour will begin at the Ohio State Airport in Columbus and will end its first day in downtown Cincinnati.

The second day will be spent at the University of Cincinnati, the National Weather Service in Wilmington and at the Western Agricultural Research Station in South Charleston in Clark County, according to an itinerary.
