Girls basketball preview: Coaching changes

Brookville: Todd Gentis resigned to become principal at Tri-Village; replaced by former longtime Wayne girls head coach Tony Ferraro.

Covington: Chris Besecker was not renewed after 27 years with the Buccs; replaced by former Sidney H.S. principal Gene Gooding.

Eaton: Randy Titkemeyer concluded a four-year run by going 15-6 last season; replaced by assistant Gary Peffly, who had a 23-year run as Dixie’s boys head coach.

Greenville: Dave McFeely resigned; replaced by Kyle Vanover.

Hamilton: Former UD player and Beavercreek grad Stefanie Miller resigned after landing a more lucrative job outside of coaching; replaced by Jill Meiring.

Lehman Catholic: Kim Miller is the new coach; previously coached girls hoop in Florida.

Miamisburg: Ron Russo resigned after compiling a 30-year career record of 361-191, including the previous 16 seasons with the Vikings; replaced by Bill Newland.

Mississinawa Valley: Rodney Saintignon resigned; replaced by Todd Murphy, previously a Blackhawks boys assistant.

New Bremen: Chris Burden resigned as the head girls coach at Indian Lake to become the Cardinals’ head coach; replaces Dave McFeely.

Parkway: Jeff Kallas resigned; replaced by Lynne Hughes.
