As former North Carolina State player, how do you feel about the resurgence of the Wolfpack?

“They’re doing a great job. I’m excited. There’s so many great people down there. Like at UD, our players experience so many people and have relationships where you can’t help but call it home. And that’s home for me. I went down there and not only played. I went down there and coached. I left so many people.

“I’m really happy the new staff is there. Those guys are great. They’ve really revived just a crazy fan base, and the sky is the limit for them. They have unlimited potential moving forward, and they’re going to continue to win. But it is exciting watching them.”

Your wife Morgan is usually laid back at the games but sometimes shows frustration with the refs. Does she know basketball?

“She’s seen a lot of games. She saw all my college games (at North Carolina State, where she was a track standout) and all my coaching. She understands what’s going on. She doesn’t like the referees very much. That’s the big one. Referees, she can light them up.”
