Dragons curtail Lansing hex, 5-4

After 10 straight losses to Lansing this season, the Dayton Dragons broke through for a 5-4 victory Tuesday at Fifth Third Field, ending a three-game losing streak.

Dayton rallied from an early 3-1 deficit by scoring single runs in the fourth through seventh innings. Sean Buckley scored the winning run in the seventh when Ryan Wright walked with the bases loaded.

Dragons starter James Allen allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings.

Kyle Waldrop went 3-for-4 with a double. Joe Terry went 3-for-4 with a home run. Juan Silva was 2-for-3.
