High school girls basketball highlights for Thursday, Dec. 13:

Alter 59, Xenia 41: Emma Bockrath scored 23 points to lead Alter. Kara Bockrath scored 13. Katie Musterspaw led Xenia with 15, Unique Conner scored 10.

Bellbrook 54, Brookville 26: Erin Dorn led Bellbrook with 15. Kelly Neumann had 12 points, 13 rebounds. Haley Donati led Brookville with eight.

Eaton 40, Franklin 34: Autumn Whirley scored 13 for Eaton, Daniele Karns 10. Hayley Jones led Franklin with 12 points, five steals. Jaci Hoobler had eight rebounds.

Ponitz 52, Stivers 29: Mercedes Jones led Ponitz with 17. Lydia Jordan had 14 points, 10 rebounds for Stivers. Candace Pettiford had seven points, 12 rebounds.

Waynesville 52, Northridge 25: Ali Caplinger scored 29 to Waynesville and made four 3-pointers. Markesha Watson had nine points, 14 rebounds. Latesha Aalim had 17 rebounds.

Dixie 54, Milton Union 23: Milton-Union remains winless. Shelby Shope had 16 points, 15 rebounds for Dixie. Kylie Hundley scored 11.

New Bremen 54, Parkway 32: Meagan Bradnt scored 10 for New Bremen and made three 3-pointers. Haley Moeller led the Cardinals with 11.

Thurgood 96, Belmont 21: Tierra Tidwell had a triple-double with 10 points 14 assists and 12 steals, Terren Kelly tallied 21 points and 10 rebounds, Jalyn Gilbert scored 20 and J’Wanna Thornton had 18 points, 12 rebounds for the Cougars. Alexus Rockwell led the Bison with 11.

Meadowdale 60, Dunbar 33: Darnesha Wesley led the Lions (3-3) with 17 and Jazlynn McCellan added 12. Cheree Snowden led the Wolverines (2-5) with 14.

Spring Valley 50, Temple Christian 49: Temple Christian missed a three at the buzzer that would have given them the win. Anique Kenniebrew led Temple Christian with 17 and Megan Fitzgerald added 12. Lindsey Conkle led Spring Valley with 19.

Houston 53, Fairlawn 40: Alyssa Stang led the Wildcats (3-5) with 14, Macey Stang had 12 points and 4 steals and Monique Booher had 12 points and 9 rebounds. Olivia Cummings led Fairlawn with 21.

Madison 73, Preble Shawnee 33: Meghan Miller led the Mohawks (6-1) with 18 points and 6 assists, Olivia Philpot added 12 points, 6 assists and Michelle Brunswick had 12 points, 9 rebounds. Courtney Lakes led Preble Shawnee (5-2) with 11.

National Trail 39, Bradford 35: Paige Thompson led National Trail (3-4) with 13 points and Kate Deaton had 10 points , 16 rebounds. Bree Bates led Bradford (1-5) with 13 points.

Tri-Village 97, Ansonia 24: Teha Richards led the Patriots (6-0) with 22, Lexie Bruner had 21, and Ecko Brown and Shaye Thomas each had 14.

Miami East 78, Franklin-Monroe 16: Trina Current led five Vikings (6-0) in double figures with 18. Angie Mack and Abby Cash each scored 13, Ashley Current had 11 and Madison Linn added 10.

Boys basketball

Spring Valley 51, Temple Christian 47: Matt Biscoe scored 17 in a losing effort and Preston Conley added 11.
