1. Tommy Kimbrell (Fairmont) vs. Jonah Newburg (Northmont), 170 — The most anticipated match of the weekend between two of the top 170-pounders in the state; both are returning state placers and enter with a combined 55-0 record.
2. Brandon Walker (Springboro) vs. Darryl Grayson (Springfield), 182 — Walker enters with a 6-1 mark and knocking off the rust, Grayson is 38-1 with 15 pins.
3. Jordan Branham (Miamisburg) vs. Matt Denlinger (Fairmont), 132 — Miamisburg’s state qualifier handed the Firebird’s returning state placer a 4-0 defeat in their dual earlier this season.
4. Cody Davis (Fairborn) vs. Derek Spangler (Sidney), 152 — Davis has dropped to 152 after spending most of the season at 145; Spangler, a returning state placer, is 12-4 heading into the weekend.
5. Garrett Conner (Centerville) vs. Jarrod Hardwick (Wayne), 195 — Conner took a 5-4 win over Hardwick in the sectional finals last season, points from this match will go a long way in determining the overall team champ.
