Area boys high school basketball highlights for Jan. 18

Centerville 53, Fairmont 39: Austin Recker led Centerville with 16. Eric Meininger scored 13.

Northridge 51, Dixie 48: Dixie made baskets late to climb back into the game, but it wasn’t enough.

Britain Lisby led Northridge with 16. Logan Watts had 14 for Dixie. Griffen Moore scored 12 while Luke Bowling had 10.

Waynesville 58, Oakwood 39: Brian Dehymer scored 19 to lead Waynesville (9-4). Stefan Stropki had 12 for Oakwood (1-11). Patrick Ireland scored 10.

West Carrollton 76, Lebanon 66: Connor Myslowski set the all-time record for career steals at West Carrollton with his 187th. He had 30 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, four assists and two blocks.

Byron Whatley and E.J. Liva each scored 12. Drew Layton had 15.

Ben Esposito led Lebanon with 17.

Trotwood 103, Sidney 69: Jamar Hammonds led Trotwood with 35. Dezhontae Bennett scored 18.

Connor Echols had 23 for Sidney.

Carlisle 72, Madison 45: Andrew Goodpaster led Carlisle (11-2) with 23. Gideon Cunningham and Jai Milton each scored 15.

Brad Mallott had 14 for Madison (0-13). Jared Macintosh scored 12.

Miami East 52, Newton 24: Garrett Mitchell led Miami East (8-4) with 16 points, eight rebounds and five steals. A.J. Hickman scored 14. Conner Hellyer had 13 and made three 3-pointers.

Meadowdale 72, Ponitz 48: Naquan Tellis scored 16 for Meadowdale (8-4). Xavier Gulatte had 15. Both made three 3-pointers.

Miami Valley 80, Middletown Christian 42: Brandon Watson had 22 for Miami Valley. Josh Hall had 17 for Middletown Christian.

Fenwick 57, Carroll 52: Xander Smart led Carroll with 15. Jeff Klaas scored 13 for Fenwick (11-3). Kevin Christie and Will Sennett each scored 12.

Tippecanoe 64, Stebbins 45: Nick Fischer had 17 for Tipp. Ben Stucke scored 13.

Monroe 55, Brookville 52: Chris Sloneker led Monroe (8-6) with 19. Jack Little scored 14.

Marcus Brisco had 21 for Brookville (4-8).

Tri-Village 53, Covington 28: Kyle Pipenger led Tri-Village with 20.

Twin Valley South 70, Bradford 50: Michael Green led Twin Valley South (8-5) with 20.

Franklin-Monroe 60, Tri-County North 38: Trey Mong led Franklin-Monroe with 21. Austin Hutchins had 21 for Tri-County North.

Mississinawa Valley 61, National Trail 53: Travis Williams led National Trail with 17.

Dayton Christian 55, Emmanuel Christian 37: Jordan Jones scored 12 for Dayton Christian. Jay Zollars had 11.
