Area high school highlights for Feb. 6

Fairborn 61, West Carrollton 38: Alexis Gassion set the career scoring mark for the host Skyhawks (19-2) with 1,227 total points.

Springboro 59, Xenia 37: Jenny DeGraaf led the host Panthers (15-6) with 19 points including her 1,000th career point.

Beavercreek 42, Wayne 40, OT: ‘Creek (12-9) used a timely steal and layup from Mariah Gobeil to edge the host Warriors (5-16) in overtime.

Lebanon 58, Miamisburg 48: Sam Showalter led the host Warriors (13-8) with 17 points and Maygan Boettcher added 12. Molly Skapik led the Vikings (12-9) with 15.

Greenville 41, Vandalia 26: Megan Galloway scored 13 points and Tara Guillozet added 11 for the Green Wave.

Fairmont 81, Northmont 23: Chelsea Welch had 21 points and Kathlyn Westbeld added 19 as the Firebirds (19-1) won easily.  

Centerville 71, Springfield 9: The visiting Elks (19-1) had little trouble in this contest against the Wildcats (1-19).

Tecumseh 69, Ben Logan 56: Bianca Quisenberry poured in 36 points with 11 steals for the host Arrows (21-1). Tecumseh shot 22-of-26 from the foul line in the contest.

Stebbins 42, Urbana 36: Desiree Kirkendoll and Briana Williams each had 10 points for the host Indians (10-11). Trischa Lacy had 23 for the Hillclimbers (9-12).

Kenton Ridge 90, Graham 36: The host Cougars (17-4) won easily, led by Paige McCrary with 26 points and 11 rebounds and Samantha Wiederkehr with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Carroll 63, Fenwick 29: Susan Wollenhaupt led the visiting Patriots with 10 points.
