Beavercreek sophomores Michael Carroll (15), Airius Moore (11) and Zach Rower (45) have helped the Beavers beat Troy, Centerville, Wayne and Northmont

Division I

1. Springboro (6-0): The Panthers, led by high-scoring junior Maverick Morgan, inherit the top spot after Beavercreek knocked off Northmont ... The T-Bolts were the D-I leader since preseason.

2. Beavercreek (4-1)

3. Northmont (4-1)

4. Troy (5-1)

5. Springfield (4-1)

Extra points: Springboro and Beavercreek move up and Northmont falls after a 65-54 setback at Beavercreek ... Wayne, last year’s ratings champ, dropped out after unraveling to Creek 68-44 and falling by three to Springfield. The Warriors (1-5) have lost five straight ... Beavercreek has lost only to unbeaten Middletown in the season opener, 70-56.

Division II

1. Dunbar (6-0): The Wolverines have been as good as advertised, taking out nemesis Jefferson on Tuesday, 70-48.

2. Thurgood Marshall (4-1)

3. Franklin (5-0)

4. Alter (2-1)

5. Chaminade Julienne (4-2)

Extra points: No lineup changes, although Marshall beat CJ on Tuesday 52-44. That’s the Cougars’ fourth straight win since falling by one to Dunbar in the season opener ... Dunbar is idle until a Dec. 28-29 trip to Canton McKinley, then the Berlin Hiland Showcase.

Division III

1. Miami East (5-1): The Vikings rolled over both Lehman Catholic and Covington following their loss to Troy.

2. Greeneview (4-1)

3. Waynesville (4-1)

4. Dixie (4-1)

5. Dayton Christian (4-1)

Extra points: Greeneview has won four straight since losing by four at CJ to start the season. Rams also handed Catholic Central its first loss 52-41 ... DC makes its first appearance after winning four straight following a season-opening setback to Meadowdale ... Anna went 1-2 for the week and dropped out.

Division IV

1. Jefferson (3-2): How can the Broncos still be No. 1 after two losses? Because those defeats were to Dunbar and Marshall.

2. Tri-Village (6-0)

3. Fort Recovery (6-0)

4. Jackson Center (4-0)

5. Catholic Central (5-1)

Extra points: Tri-Village hadn’t had a close contest until dodging rival CCC Twin Valley South 50-45. The Patriots’ boys and girls (7-0) teams are both unbeaten ... Fort Recovery and Jackson Center, also mounting perfect starts, make their ratings debuts and Botkins drops out.
