The 29th Miami Valley Football Coaches Association All-Star Game kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday at Welcome Stadium.
Rick Meeks (Springfield Shawnee) is the North coach and Brandon Philpot (Waynesville) the South coach.
The renewal of the “MVFCA Pigskin Barbecue” is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at White Allen Chevrolet on Main Street in Dayton.
Jim Place, Bob Gregg, Mike Schneider, Al Hetrick and Jim VanDeGrift will be inducted into the association’s hall of fame. Cincinnati coach Butch Jones will be the featured speaker.
The barbecue is free and open to the public.
