Jason Osborne has been named to replace Tom Hathaway as Miamisburg’s athletic director. Osborne was approved by the board of education last week.
Hathaway has accepted the AD position at Cincinnati State. A ribbon-cutting for a new campus expansion in Middletown was held on Monday.
“This is a great opportunity,” Hathaway said.
“I have enjoyed my time at Miamisburg and appreciate the opportunity that they gave me. I will always have a love for high school sports.”
Hathaway will toggle between the jobs for a while. He’s spearheading an effort to fill both the girls basketball head coach position at Miamisburg and the head women’s basketball position at Cincinnati State.
