The Miamisburg used a strong running game — Cody Hamblin and Troy Tanner each rolled up 130 yards — to build a 17-point lead in beating Bellbrook 24-14.
Despite a 38-6 loss to Alter, Fairmont showed offensive promise by driving inside Alter’s 28-yard line thee times (but scoring no points). QB Tom West threw for 208 yards, but the team rushed for only 135.
