Linda Rose, a former girlfriend of Tucker’s, traveled from Berea, Ky., to testify Thursday about a text message she received from Tucker at 3:17 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2015.
The text message to Rose, allegedly sent from Tucker, said: “Babydoll, done with the job. Got to get some rest and call you tomorrow. Love you.”

Rose said she didn’t know where Tucker was at the time the message was sent and she likely did not read it until the next morning.
Prosecutors say Parker was “under water” financially in December 2015 and hatched a plan to have the house set on fire for insurance money while he and his wife were in Las Vegas.
According to prosecutors, Tucker agreed to light the fire in exchange for payment in pills.
