Trenton company expanding, to open nearly $13M new building

Magnode Corporation in Trenton is several months away from opening a new facility.

Under construction, the new commercial building at 400 E. State St. represents a $13 million investment, according to company officials.

David Longworth, the company’s controller, told this news outlet that the 70-year-old company broke ground earlier this year on the the property for a brand new building due to expansion.

Completion of the project is expected during the first quarter of 2018, Longworth said.

Magnode is an aluminum extruder producing aluminum parts for various industries. It has been in Trenton for a majority of its seven decades in business and employs more than 200 people between that facility and a fabrication group in Indianapolis.
