Wright State names third, final presidential candidate to visit campus

Wright State announced that its last presidential finalist to visit campus is Cheryl Schrader, chancellor of the Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Schrader has served as chancellor there since 2012 and previously served as assistant vice president for strategic research initiatives at Boise State University.

Wright State selected three presidential finalists in January.

Two finalists have already visited campus and participated in forums with students and faculty, like Schrader will at 9:15 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the student union’s Apollo room.

Wright State’s first two finalists both hailed form Wisconsin. Dennis Shields, chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville came to campus last week while Deborah Ford, chancellor of University of Wisconsin-Parkside arrived on campus Monday.

Wright State is expected to name a new president sometime in April, officials have said.
