Dennis Quaid to Meg Ryan: “Shut up!”

Dennis Quaid is a little — OK, a lot — ticked at ex-wife Meg Ryan for recently talking publicly about their failed marriage and his alleged infidelity.

A recap: Ryan recently told InStyle magazine that “Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful.” She explained to Diane Sawyer that she just wanted to “fill in the gaps for people.”

But Quaid tells New York’s Daily News, “It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship. Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce.”

Quaid, now married (with twins) to Kimberly Buffington, went on to say, “I, myself, have moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family.”

As for reports that Quaid’s custody and visitation rights hinged on his sobriety, the actor — who completed rehab for drugs and alcohol — says: “Meg and I have always had joint custody of Jack without any stipulations whatsoever.”

Meg Ryan has very little talent. I never saw her really act. Dennis took several steps up when he left her…
