Baked Goods
My name is Mike Clark and I produce baked goods out of my house. Right now my emphasis is on Fruit cakes but I also do European baked goods, quick breads and pies. If anyone is interested (come on, admit it, you love fruit cake), they can reach me on my home phone at (937) 884-7339 or at my email mikeclark3579@hotmail.com On the baked goods, I have an array of other baked goods on my product list such as Potica bread, Kiefle, Noel Nut Balls, Sugar cookies, Kolachi. I am also up to special requests even for items where you have the recipe you want me to make. I offer a charitable donation program giving to charities of your choice for product sales that come from the recipes you allow me to use. Ask me about the details.
Cheese
Blue Jacket Dairy produces farmstead and artisan cheeses, all made the old-fashioned way, by hand. We make a halloumi-style cheese, Gretna Grilling; quark (plain, garlic, lemon, and cranberry nut); chevre (plain, chive and garlic, herb-blend, and fig); cheddar curds (plain, dill, and ranch-flavored), and feta. Also available are gift boxes and party trays. Blue Jacket cheeses are available at Jungle Jim’s, Whole Foods; other venues are listed on our website: www.bluejacketdairy.com.
Vegetables
Boulder Belt Eco-Farm, Eaton, OH http://boulderbelt.blogspot.com We have right now leeks, various winter squashes (butternut, carnival, buttercup), yellow and red onions, carrots, parsnips, catnip, garlic, garlic powder, catnip dried herbs (basil, sage, dill, tarragon, savory), celeriac, potatoes rutabagas and red turnips. If it gets warm enough to get at the greens we should also have arugula, spring mix, lettuce medley (a mix of 3 to 6 different heirloom lettuces), mizuna, napa cabbage and spinach (right now leafy greens are a day by day affair). Folks can check the farm store page of our website http://www.boulderbeltfarm.com for the complete list and prices. We are open by appointment for the winter months. Simply go to our farm store page, make an order of what you want, email that to us and we will get that order together the next day. The fruit cake recipe is at elast 5 generations old, in my family. It is a dark cake with almost all fruit and nuts. They come ‘raw’ (not soaked), soaked in bourbon, brandy, rum, apricot brandy or blackberry brandy or double soaked (fruit is soaked before going into the cake) in bourbon, brandy and rum. If you don’t thoroughly enjoy it, I’ll give your money back.

I love baking from old family recipes. Help me to bring back some of those long lost recipes from our relatives. Let the tradition live on. I would be proud to carry on your family tradition (no pun intended but that is where the company name, Family Traditions Baked Goods, came from).
