Northmont’s Ringer on All-America team
Kaleb Ringer, as a sophomore, was already showing signs this season that he could be the next great linebacker recruit in the Miami Valley.
The national high school sports Web site Maxpreps.com backed that up by including the Northmont High School star on its national sophomore All-America Team, which was released last week.
Ringer, the third of four Ringer brothers in the Northmont program and the nephew of former Chaminade Julienne running back Javon Ringer, proved to be one of the best blitzers around with a mix of size (6-0, 200) and explosive speed.
He was the only sophomore on the DDN All-Area first team this season, which provides a lot of interest in his next two seasons.

Ain’t jealous of Ringer. He’s a good athlete and glad he got honors. I think having a sophomore All-American team is bunch of crap. Another hustler trying to make money off high schools kids. And carry your own frickin’ bags. I’ve got see my tax man about my six-figure income.

Congratulations to Ringer! Keep up the good work representing yourself, your family and Football In Ohio. Kaleb Ringer’s recognition is deserving.

@Eli…you aren’t supposed to count the number after the decimal points! @Dick…get over yourself, OSU is not so elite that their fans should act the way they do.

Javon Ringer was a stud. He was definitely good enough for the buckeyes. But if you heard that Beanie Wells was going to play at OSU. Why wouldn’t you look at some other universities. You should have heard all of the excuses coming from buckeye fans as to why Ringer didn’t come to OSU. From his grades weren’t good enough to get into OSU, to, he wasn’t good enough. Personally. I think it was the knee injury that scared Tressel away. I bet Tressel is still kicking himself over that mistake. He started as a freshman in East Lansing. I am sure that sparty’s entrance requirements are the same as Ohio State’s. Buckeye fans are some of the most closed minded people on the face of the earth. Oh by the way, I am a lifelong Buckeye fan and live in Columbus. So don’t tell me that I don’t know what I am talking about.
