Walmart’s holiday list has 100 toys for $10

Take that, Toys R Us.

Toys R Us released their Holiday Hot Toy List last week, and it was noted that many items were on the cheaper side.

But, that was before it could be compared to Walmart’s list.

The retail gigantor said today, Sept. 30, according to CNN, that it will have 100 toys (or more, according to CNBC) on its hot list this holiday season, each for $10.

Walmart had a list of 10 toys for $10 last holiday season, but said it decided to expand the program “at a time when our customers were ready to make purchases,” Laura Phillips, Walmart’s vice president of toys, said in a statement.

Like the Toys R Us list, Walmart said it will offer a “newly released toys, top brands and classic toys that shoppers seek out each holiday season.”

Some of the toys are being introduced at $10, while others are being reduced by up to 50 percent, the company told CNN.

For a partial list of the toys being offered — from Barbies to Transformers — see the CNN story.

if everyone buys from walmart this christmas other stores will go out of business. then walmart will control all the prices and the will go up by a 100 fold. they are trying to run all department stores out of business and then next they will control the world. look at forbes listings the Walton kids are filthy rich 21 billion each and just 5 years ago they were only worth 7 billion each and i say only lol lightly. so if there was only one Walton kid (but theres 7) and their worth about 21 billon each so if i do the math for you that 21x7=147 billion dollars 2 and ahalf times more richer than Bill Gates the richest man in the world.i know times are tuff as here too but dont let them have world domination of the department stores.
