Nichole Richie named her kid Sparrow. What’s your favorite celebrity baby name?
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have welcomed little Sparrow James Midnight into the world - that’s right, the kid’s name is Sparrow James Midnight.
Richie announce her son’s birth on her web site:
“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.”
That said, Sparrow James Midnight is an odd name. Don’t deny it.
But is it the strangest thing a celebrity has named a kid?

What a shame these people put names like they do on their children. Don’t they think the child will grow up and wonder why their parents named them like the did?By Mercy!

Does anyone really care about people like Nichole Richie? Why does the media keep giving worthless people like Richie and Paris Hilton press coverage? They, and people like them contribute nothing meaningful to society other than to be poster children spawned by Hollywood’s rich. Are there regular/average people out there that find their lives to be interesting? If so, they need to get a life themselves. How sad and pathetic.By CR

I think Sparrow is a beautiful name. It reminds me of the gospel song “His Eye is on the Sparrow (and I know he watches me). Congrats!
