New Five Guys Burgers opens in Beavercreek
Five Guys Burgers and Fries has opened its Beavercreek restaurant at 3286 Pentagon Blvd. in the Fairfield Crossing center.
This is the second Five Guys to open in the Dayton area, following the opening of the small chain’s first restaurant at 1057 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Washington Twp. Next up is a location near the University of Dayton campus. Chris Mastin, co-owner of the Dayton-area Five Guys franchise restaurants, said the UD-area Five Guys could open in February or March.
The newest Five Guys opened Monday, Dec. 14, with nearly 40 employees, Mastin said. The restaurant seats 76. Click here for a review of both Five Guys and Smashburger, another burger chain in the process of opening new restaurants in the Dayton area.
The new Beavercreek Five Guys is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and can be reached at 937-427-6590.

Been to both Smash burger and Five Guys.Have to say Five Guys beat Smash Burgers hands down! The Burgers there just melt in your mouth, and the Fries are the best I’ve ever had.My wife had a burger at Smashburger and she said it was lousy,i had a Chitown style dog wasn’t bad,but not the best dog I’ve ever had, which was at Pug’s. Five Guys Burgers are the best!Try one with Mushrooms and Tomatoes on it,they are the bomb!

The burgers taste alright but $5.00 and the size, to much. Won’t last after a year.

Have never tried Fiveguys, yet, but I did try SMashburger today. It was ok, I was a little disappointed in the smashfries. I will try Fiveguys but IMHO, Red Robin is the BEST of the chain burgers.

For the qualtiy of the burger and amount of tasty fries you get for your money, Five Guys is clearly superior to Smashburger.

I love Five Guys and so do my kids. We will try Smashburger. Negative people will always post to blogs to denigrate something positive because they can be anonymous and they don’t have the b@ll$ to say it out loud. If you don’t like something, don’t go! If a restaurant is bad, it will go out of business if it is as bad as you say. I am glad Five Guys is here! Their burgers are awesome.

I’ve had both Five Guys and SmashBurger and felt that SB was easily the better of the two. FG overcooks their burgers while SB made mine to medium perfection. Both places are heavy on the grease but that’s to be expected with any burger joint. But SB’s fries blow away anything FG can put out there!

We tried Fiveguys and Smashburger. Fiveguys is not worth trying twice. How they can claim to win contests with their burgers is a puzzle. A Big Mac has more flavor. Smashburger wins, hands down.
