Poor Sarah Palin. She was treated so unfairly by that awful Katie Couric, who was so mean that she actually asked questions during an interview.

Jim, do you truly believe that Sean Hannity is the only (or even the first)person to use the word "anointed" in connection with President Obama? Just watching the adoring media coverage of Obama during the campaign was enough to make the word applicable. Gaffes were explained away, his lack of substantive experience was excused and associations that would have been investigated in anyone else (Republican or Hillary Clinton) were largely ignored by most media outlets.

P.S. Have you ever taken a verbal exam, or had a job interview, and were asked questions that you knew answers to, but you kind of drew a blank? Who hasn't had that experience? Does that mean you were "ignorant" or "dumb". Well, maybe you were . . but more likely it is a momentary lapse and nothing more. Part of being human. I'd like to see a grilling-type interview AT Katie Couric -- dig up dirt, throw unsubstantiated allegations, pounce of any mistatatement or mispronunciation. What fun!

I have disliked Couric since her very disrespectful interview of Sen. Bob Dole when he was running for President. Couric was attacking in her style with Dole, as she was to an extent with Palin. All that was missing in her show of contempt for anyone "Conservative" was the roll of eyes and gasp of disbelief. Some objectivity there, Ms. Couric. Many of these media "personalities" get carried away, thinking that the millions they are paid to be "headline readers" makes THEM the news. Whatever!
