Nobody wants to “beat a dead horse,” but the question needs to be asked: Where was George W. Bush when all the problems President Barack Obama now faces were surfacing?
Republicans don’t like to hear about the Bush years as the cause of our country’s problems, but they need to, repeatedly.
• Where was W when the economy collapsed?
• Where was W during the Wall Street greed?
• Where was W during the subprime mortgage fiasco?
• Where was W when immigration needed reform?
• Where was W when the auto industry collapsed?
• Where was W when oil drilling was deregulated, causing the worst oil spill in U.S. history?
• Where was W when health care needed reform?
We now know that he was not in the loop for eight years and passed this mess on to Obama. Bush was busy fighting an illegal war in Iraq and neglecting Afghanistan, now our worst foreign problem.
Let’s not blame Obama for the problems and messes that George W. Bush failed to deal with.
