Moeller wants smaller government, lower taxes in Sugarcreek Twp.

The Sugarcreek Board of Trustees recently allowed 11.5 acres of township property along little Sugarcreek Road to be annexed by the city of Bellbrook without dispute. I would like for someone to explain to me how trustees who say that they want to have sensible development and to protect our township would ever think about giving township property away without contention. This is a double standard that we do not need in our township.

In the last 10 years, Sugarcreek Twp. lost approximately 425 acres by annexation to the cities of Bellbrook, Centerville and Kettering. This is a large tax base loss for the township.

This Nov. 3, the citizens of Sugarcreek Twp. will be voting to fill two trustee positions. There are five candidates running for the two positions, and my husband, Marvin Moeller, is one of those candidates. We have raised our two children here and our grandsons are being raised here. Sugarcreek Twp. is where we plan to live the rest of our lives, so it is important to us that we protect it.

It is time to vote for a candidate who will be a trustee for the people and not for personal gain.

It is time to vote for a candidate who wants smaller government and lower taxes. That candidate is Marvin Moeller.

Mr. Moeller is not what we need. We should not trust this guy.
