President Barack Obama continues to fool the American people into thinking he is trying to help small businesses. His recent remark that he is going to eliminate the capital gains tax is a joke.

The fact is that most small businesses don’t pay capital gains taxes. If he is not aware of this, then he is ignorant. If he is aware of it, he is being deceitful. If he wants to help small businesses, he needs to reduce payroll taxes and give up on cap and trade and the complete government takeover of health care.

Obama’s first year in office has been a disaster. He is another Jimmy Carter, but much worse. His agenda is just the opposite of Ronald Reagan’s, who was one of the best presidents in our history.

Obama and the Democrats seem to have the mistaken idea that they can spend their way to prosperity and jobs. We desperately need to start taking our country back in November 2010.
