Re “Sammy Sosa now a whiter shade of male,” Nov. 19: Leonard Pitts used Sammy Sosa as a perfect opportunity to call white people names, such as Dracula and the Joker. Pitts ends his commentary by saying to Sosa, “I’m embarrassed for you.” Well, I’m embarrassed by Leonard Pitts’ ignorance.

Leonard Pitts chooses to bind himself in the chains of racist notions and teachings.

Sammy Sosa is a free man and can do with his skin whatever he pleases to do.

If Sammy Sosa wants to alter or change his face or skin color, that’s his prerogative. We’re in America, Leonard Pitts — land of the free.

Pitts is a racist pig who I've yet to figure out why the DDN even prints his racist rants.
He should be eliminated. from the paper...
