Where are Goldberg's examples of nasty rhetoric?

Re “When it comes to politics, have we ever been civil?,” Oct. 24: So, Jonah Goldberg concedes that there is “no shortage of bilious, nasty rhetoric on the right.” Finally. Too bad he couldn’t come up with any examples. There are plenty out there. 

Ah, I believe his point was that it exists on both sides of the fence and that there is a history reflecting this. Apparently the caller thinks those with whom he agrees with to be always pristine and always civil when that just isn't the case
