Erica Rutledge, 20, of Dayton died late Friday when a vehicle flipped five or six times and burst into flames at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening on Route 4 at the Harshmann Road bridge in Riverside. The crash also left two people critically injured, said Sgt. Jeff Kramer of the Ohio Highway Patrol. Killed in the accident was Erica Rutledge, 18, of Dayton. The vehicle, a 1996 Toyota SUV, burned to the ground. Another 18-year-old was ejected from the vehicle and received only minor injuries, Kramer said. Troopers are investigating the crash and would like to locate a witness, described as a blond white female 19 to 20 years old driving a white Chevy S-10 extended cab pickup. Her license plate begins with the letters PQ. She is not believed to have contributed to the accident but is considered a possible witness, Kramer said.
