Laser Light Show Schedule

18 different musically themed Laser, Light and Music Shows will be presented almost every Friday and Saturday evening, Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends (and on Dayton Dragon home game nights). Classical to rock music plays to colorful laser images on a football field-sized water screen over the Great Miami River.

Shows last approximately 15 minutes. On evenings when wind conditions do not permit us to utilize our water screen, an all-beam show will be presented for your enjoyment on Festival Plaza. On nights when Dayton Dragons home games run later than the laser show starting time, an additional show will be shown approximately 15 minutes after the game ends.

Fountain Hours

The Five Rivers Fountain of Lights runs every fifteen minutes at :00; :15, :30 and :45. Hours of operation are: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. except on evening of Laser, Light and Music Shows when the last display begins at 8:45 p.m.

Free wireless Internet access

The hotspot is in the festival plaza area mainly but can be used in other areas of the park depending on your wireless card manufacturer. The hotspot is transmitting the SSID of rswireless on Channel 11. The connection is limitied to 50 users and will transmit an IP address via DHCP. Wireless hotsopt E-mail - wireless@metroparks.org

Rules specific to Germantown Metropark include:

• DO play in RiverScape's Interactive Fountain, but please DON'T let your dog.
• DO ride the bikeway with your bicycle, roller blades or skateboard and DO remember to yield to slower moving users and DO remember to walk it inside the park. DON'T forget to pass other users on the left. Bicycle stands are available on the backside of the two pavilions inside the park. DO remember to bring your own lock.
• DO clean up after your dog. Doggie Mutt Mitts are available free of charge from the dispenser on RiverScape's Festival Plaza or at the Flying Dog Food Pavilion. DO remember to get an Iams Dog Biscuit from the Flying Dog Food Pavilion.
• DO come prepared to enjoy yourself, and DO leave your alcoholic beverages at home.
• DO leave your dog at home if you are coming to one of RiverScapes large events or if you plan to ride the pedal boats at Ride the River Rentals.
• DO enjoy the reflecting pools and DO remember they are not for wading.
• DO bring a fishing pole to fish in the Great Miami River, and DO remember to bring your State of Ohio Fishing License.
• DO bring a picnic lunch or dinner, and DO remember no open flames or barbeque grills are permitted within the park.
• DO call 911 in an emergency or our law enforcement division the Five Rivers MetroParks Rangers at (937) 225-HELP.
• DO call Five River MetroParks' Urban Programming Department at (937) 274-0126 if you are interested in selling anything within the Park or at one of our events as we DON'T permit any solicitation within RiverScape or at any of our events without a permit.
• DO your part to keep RiverScape clean.

Rules that apply to all MetroParks:

• Removal of property prohibited
• Pets (where permitted) must be on a leash
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited without permit
• Motorized Vehicles allowed on roads and parking lots only
• Solicitation prohibited
• Music must remain at a low volume so as to not disturb others
• Fires in grills and designated areas only
• Dangerous weapons prohibited without authorization
• Release of animals prohibited
