About Toledo
"Toledo's a very good team — the top team in the West. They've got good athletes," Miami junior Tim Pollitz said. Toledo is the only team unbeaten in MAC play.
Miami facts
Conventional wisdom says Nathan Peavy is Miami's most talented player and is bound to break out of his minislump sooner or later. Coach Charlie Coles would prefer sooner. Peavy has scored in double figures only once in the past five games, but Miami still has managed to win three straight. Pollitz is on a hot streak. Despite his chronic knee injury, he's averaged 16.8 points per game since Jan. 7.
Coles' take
"Tim's good when he moves without the ball. When he does that, he becomes (tough to guard). Our hope is that it forces the other team to double-team him and that opens up somebody else." — Miami coach Charlie Coles
