Miami's synchronized skaters win national title

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Miami University synchronized skating team dominated the collegiate division Sunday, skating away with its third straight and ninth overall United States National Championship at the World Arena. The RedHawks, who posted a season-high score of 102.61, knocked off second-place Michigan State (92.17). Miami's previous high was 101.07.
