Miami announces remaining start times for football games

OXFORD —Miami University has announced game times for its 2007 schedule, with six games being televised on regional or national networks.

Miami's Wednesday, Nov. 14 game against the Akron will be aired on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m.

Two games will be a part of a six-week Mid-American Conference television package on ESPN Regional Television. A pair of other games will be aired on Fox Sports Net Ohio, and the RedHawks' Saturday, Sept. 8 game at the University of Minnesota will be on the Big Ten Network at noon.

Kicking off the ESPN Regional Television 2007 MAC Game of the Week schedule that will air in 34 television markets is Miami's home opener versus the University of Cincinnati in the 112th playing of the "Battle for the Victory Bell". The RedHawks' clash with the Bearcats starts at noon on Saturday, Sept. 15.

In the final contest of the six-week package on Saturday, Oct. 20, Miami's game at Temple University will be the feature game. Kickoff will be at noon.

Miami will be featured on FSN Ohio on back-to-back weekends when the RedHawks play at Kent State on Saturday, Oct. 6, and host Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 13. Both game times are set for 3 p.m.

Additionally, Miami has set its home game times for Saturday, Sept. 29 against Syracuse and Saturday, Nov. 3 vs. Buffalo for 3 p.m.

The RedHawks start the 2007 campaign at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30 when they travel to Ball State University. In a non-televised game, Miami will play at the Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 3:30 p.m. Rounding out regular-season play, Miami will travel to Ohio on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.

Miami's start time at Vanderbilt remains TBA.
