OXFORD — Miami University's women's soccer team opened the season Friday with a 5-1 triumph over visiting Morehead State.
Julie Thompson notched a hat trick to pace the RedHawks.

Sara Lund added a goal and two assists, and Allison Berkey had two assists for Miami.
The RedHawks (1-0-0) travel to Cincinnati on Sunday.
