RedHawks rally past Nebraska-Omaha

OXFORD — The host Miami University RedHawks hockey team trailed 1-0 and 2-1 to Nebraska-Omaha, but four unanswered goals earned the nation's No. 2-ranked team a 5-2 win Saturday night at Steve Cady Arena.

Ryan Jones opened the scoring for Miami off assists from Brian Kaufman and Carter Camper.

Camper then tied the contest at 2-all with an unassisted goal at 7:31 of the second period. Nino Musitelli scored what proved to be the game-winning goal, off assists by Kaufman and Kevin Roeder at the 8:06 mark.

The third period was all Miami as Camper scored off a Justin Mercier pass. Gary Steffes then closed out the scoring with an empty-net goal after assists by Patt Cannone and Mitch Ganzak.
